Great hosts, very nice and authentic. Seemingly handmade food.
Definitely to be recommended! Incredibly nice host and incredibly delicious wine! Definitely go there !!!!
Uncomfortable and extremely high prices for what is on the plate. The food is also very carelessly arranged. It's a shame and a big disappointment
Danger! Ready meals at very expensive prices. The waiter is very accommodating, so I'm very sorry for him that the food is so bad. Schnitzel is clearly not homemade and is served with the cheapest croquettes. The salad is not dressed well. 17.50 € are not appropriate for this quality of french fries! The pasta with spinach - the only vegetarian dish - tastes like almost nothing.
It is always difficult to give bad reviews when someone is actually very personable. However, the service was the only good thing here ... To name a few things: - Only one vegetarian dish on the menu - Card (sheet of paper) with leftover food on it - Card payment not possible - with the guest government (Corona) you could read the 4 previous guests on the same note (thanks for data protection) The way the food tasted and looked, everything was ready-made. A shame for the actually very nice host.
When you enter the inn a friendly welcome - even as a large family - you feel like you have arrived immediately - and not as if you are a burden. Food tastes great - cozy and pleasant atmosphere - just great hosts - thank you - keep it up.
Ambience and food were good. Unfortunately there was only one vegetarian dish. And after every meal I was asked if I should bring the bill, that's very rude. Card payment was also not possible, a no go nowadays ......
The best host you can imagine. Cozy, everything was great. only the cappuccino is not that good.
Great dealings with the guests. Food came quickly and was very good. Really recommended.
Food very tasty. Service very friendly. Cozy ambience. It's all a matter of taste. Just convince yourself :-)
If you want to eat delicious, homemade German home-style cooking, this is the place for you. We had an excellent game goulash with fresh dumplings and homemade red cabbage, in front of it a very good seasoned meat and really tasty Saxon quark pods. We were particularly pleased to see that the landlord shows so much fun and so much dedication to his job. We would love to come back.
Very friendly and very funny service, it is really fun to dine in the great, very green beer garden. The apple strudel with ice cream and cream is highly recommended.
Very nice host with a saying always on his lips. He was also very responsive to the children. Food was quickly on the table, freshly prepared and very tasty. We will be back. Oh, and special requests are also catered for, even if, as with me with schnitzel with chanterelles + dumplings, there is collective head shaking from the guests sitting around. ;-) Highly Recommended. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible, but there are ATMs two doors down and if you know you can have a little more cash with you.
Great service! Great food! We have felt very comfortable here. Big thanks to the two "pirates".
Dined there today, the food was great, the prices are okay. The waiter is an original who you acknowledge that you enjoy your job, the restaurant is very clean.
Restaurant with delicious hearty food. Super nice waiter always joking. Unfortunately, no card payment is possible, of course that is no longer up-to-date these days and especially not in times of Corona. But otherwise a clear recommendation. ?
Great restaurant with outside terrace! Friendly service and good food!
Fantastic German food and friendly and fast service. Rindsrouladen was great, fresh Rotkraut und very tasty Kartoffelknödeln. Not standard pre-packaged variety!
Food tasted very good. The host was great.
This was our best German restaurant! Couple vegetarian options, the waiter was asking us what do we need for our little kid. He was offering am extra plate etc. It was very kind and thoughtful of him. Food arrived quickly. The quickest for any slow food restaurant in Germany! That was very impressive. And ofc it was delicious with typical village food (with mostly game on the menu)
Very nice restaurant with the best waiter number 007. Quick and very good dish.
OK!
The "asparagus-Krem-soup" is good, the asparagus pieces are nice and firm. The Norwegian salmon with Saxon "potato-Klitscher" is delicious. Unfortunately, the quail egg is missing. The carpaccio of ostrich fillet is butter tender and outstanding. Also the roast venison with bacon sprouts and potato dumplings is good. Especially the dumplings with bread crumbs and a nutmeg note are classy and recognizable homemade. The Brussels sprouts are firm, only the bacon is a bit pale. The sauce is spicy and tasty. The wild goulash with juniper berries tastes the same. The homemade red cabbage would have tolerated a little more vinegar to my taste. The Quarkkäulchen are fine, but nothing more. At the lemon cream, the spirits divorced. Partly it creates enthusiasm, for me it tastes artificial. The service is friendly and consistent on "Mittelaltersprech". A card payment is not possible, but a bank to withdraw money there are already a few meters away.
Perfect service (very friendly welcome, wishes fulfilled ....), inviting ambience, absolutely delicious food, here you just have to stop !!!! We will definitely be back !!!
